Who We Are
Good Neighbors Capitol Hill (GNCH) is a community-based service organization that provides apartment set-ups for refugee families and individuals in DC and the Maryland and Virginia suburbs. It is managed and operated by a network of over 50 volunteers. Founded ten years ago as a collaboration among Capitol Hill faith-based congregations, as of November 2025 GNCH has provided 175 full or partial apartment set-ups, welcoming 761 men, women and children to their new home in the United States. In 2025 Good Neighbors became a nonprofit organization registered in the District of Columbia and has been granted 501(c)(3) status by the IRS. Our EIN number is 39-2390808.
